S.A.D. “KustomWerks” is the Special Activities Division of Stim Factory Inc. — our internal think tank and R&D engine. Think Lockheed's Skunk Works, but born in a garage and proud of it.
We believe the best ideas don't come from corner offices. They come from people who tinker after midnight, who see a broken thing and can't leave it alone, who learned by doing — not by reading about doing. The kind of people who void warranties on day one.
That garage energy isn't something we grew out of. It's something we protect. Flat hierarchy. No red tape. You have an idea? Build it. Test it. Break it. Fix it. That's the process. That's always been the process.
We fund our research by hiring out our talent on external projects — so we stay sharp, stay funded, and stay independent. No committee approvals. No death by PowerPoint. Just real work on real problems.
