We chose a modern vintage theme as it reminds us of the timelessness of vintage boutiques and fashion. This, coupled with our ability to make and build nearly anything makes us feel like we're living in a real-life steampunk adventure!
Get to Know Us
Stim Factory was first conceptualized by Joseph "Joie" Thompson in 2017 while working with some of their favorite online creators within the YouTube Family Vlogging community.
After their interests no longer aligned, Joie set off on their own to create accessories for the disability community as an aftermarket solution. As Joie grew to better understand the community they were operating in, Joie started working with friends to create the company as it stands today: co-operatively owned and operated, sourcing off-the-shelf components, and bundling them as project kits: which is exactly what a maker's space does!
As Joie began to make new friends, they began to realize that this same "maker's mentality" that had been deployed to address major market pains within the disability community could also be used to solve other problems, as well.
Today, Stim Factory Incorporated stands as the premier hobbyist technology innovator and disruptor. Still running down problems within the disability community, Stim Factory serves almost all Hobbyist and Enthusiast communities.
